BS 3621防盜鎖性能測試標準
BS 3621標準規定了防盜機械操作單點鎖總成（包括鎖板、固定螺釘、裝配結構、圓柱體和防護家具，如適用）的性能要求和測試方法，該總成：
a）包含符合BS EN 12209:2016的鎖，該鎖可以用鑰匙從兩側鎖定，從而只允許鑰匙出口；和
b）用于建筑物的門、窗戶門和入口門。本標準不包括提供無鑰匙出口的防盜鎖組件，即無需鑰匙即可從內部解鎖的鎖組件，或除無鑰匙出口外提供安全（無出口）模式的鎖組件
Since its inception, BS 3621 has always required that a door is secure from both sides, meaning that, once locked; a key is always required to open the door, whether from the inside or the outside. BS 3621一直要求門從兩側都是安全的，這意味著，一旦鎖上；無論是從里面還是從外面開門，總是需要一把鑰匙。

BS 3621防盜鎖性能測試要求
A BS 3621 lock will have undergone vigorous testing to ensure it meets the required standard of security and protection; typically it will have the following characteristics:
A 20mm protruding lock bolt (BS 3621-2007) tested to withstand extreme force and attack.
Hardened steel roller pins in the lock bolt to protect the lock bolt against cutting attack.
Hardened plate surround to protect the lock against attack by drilling.
Steel box frame receiver tested to resist attack.
The lock should have anti-pick features to help prevent lock picking.
Minimum of 1000 + key differs.
Minimum of 5 levers (for mortise deadlocks)
